Bradford (Brad) Hudson is a Professor of the Practice of Marketing in the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He teaches the capstone strategy course for undergraduate marketing majors (MKTG4256 Applied Marketing Management). He also serves as the faculty coordinator for the marketing minor program and the marketing core course (MKTG1021 Marketing Principles).
His current research is focused on the industrialization of services, including intelligent automation (robotics) for the physical aspects of services and product-service hybrids. Previously he developed an international reputation in the field of brand heritage, which combines consumer behavior and business history. He has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals including聽European Journal of Marketing听补苍诲听Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, and quoted by numerous media sources including聽CN自慰视频听补苍诲听The Financial Times.
He was previously a professor at Boston University with joint appointments in the Graduate School of Management and the School of Hospitality Administration. He also received a Fulbright fellowship to Canada, where he held the Fulbright Visiting Research Chair at the University of Guelph.
Prior to his academic career, Brad served in a variety of consulting and managerial positions. As President of Hudson Consulting and as a Senior Consultant with The TQM Group, he provided advice on strategy and marketing to multinational corporations and private equity firms. His clients included AT&T, Cadbury Schweppes, Cunard, Harley-Davidson, and Nestl茅. He is former Chief Executive Officer of Bay Tower Incorporated, which was ranked among the 100 largest independent restaurant companies in the United States. He is also former Chief Executive Officer of Brandpoint.com, which developed an acclaimed consumer Internet navigation portal.
Brad holds a Ph.D. in business history from the University Professors interdisciplinary honors program at Boston University. He also holds a master鈥檚 degree in services marketing from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, a bachelor鈥檚 degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania, and an executive education certificate in strategy from Harvard Business School.
